button.
The message arrived for you after you logged in.
When you log into your Web Mail account, the system displays a "snapshot"
of your account at that moment. If you spend a long time composing or
reading a message, new messages will not necessarily appear in your inbox.
Click the Inbox tab or click the
Refresh button in your browser
to see any new messages.
The message was not correctly addressed.
The sender might have typed a different email address than the one
intended. For example, they might have entered a typo in the email address
that changes it into the valid email address of another user. In this
situation, the message would be delivered to the address they incorrectly
typed.
The message was delayed.
While messages normally are delivered within a short time, they can
be delayed if they encounter heavy Internet traffic or routing problems.
(Sometimes, delays can last for several hours.)
You have enabled mail forwarding.
If you asked your Web Site Administrator to have your mail forwarded
to another email address, messages will never appear in your Web Mail
inbox.
Some other possibilities:
Interruptions or disruptions in email transmissions over the Internet
can occasionally make your email message undeliverable. The best solution
is to have the sender re-send the message.
